We were contacted by Sharon Vaughn. Sharon had written some lyrics and was looking for someone to put them to music. We were so impressed with the lyrics that we took up the challenge. Our brief from Sharon was "As far as the sound of the music, I am thinking maybe Tori Amos meets Jewel.. If this is too confusing, let me know - It is hard for me to pinpoint my musical influences as I have such a broad spectrum of favorites - But I definitely want a folky pop sound :-)". Listen to the demos of the songs and decide for yourselves whether we met this brief...

Neil Kokemuller was looking for songs for a female singer - he found us and liked what he heard! He was interested in songs to use at gigs and for demos. Things fell through on Neil's side so it didn't quite work out but it did give us the idea for our service for unsigned bands and artists.
January 1998
Lance Williams was producing a demo tape for a female singer and had written some lyrics for a song but needed a tune. He sent us the lyrics and some idea of the style he was looking for. We slightly reworked the lyrics, composed a melody and put together a quick demo. (Yes, its cheesy but at least it showed what we could do!) Lance said he really liked the song and wanted to continue with the project...but since royalties have been mentioned we have not heard from Lance...shame!
July 1997
After listening to our song Circle of Friends we were contacted by Einar Davison of the Alberta Liberal Party in Canada. Einar was looking for an uplifting theme song for the Annual Convention that he was organising for the Liberal Party. Using Circle of Friends as a base we offered to rework the lyrics so that they met his exact requirements. Unfortunately, Einar could not convince the rest of the organising committee that professional songwriters were required.
